I got the idea for Timecoyl when I was very busy with work, keeping up with friends and family any chance I got. Missing meetings weighed heavily. I barely had time to manage the basics. While I was trying to make the most of every minute, it seemed like I just didn't have enough time.

The native smartphone calendar wasn't working for me. I didn't want to open the application every time I picked up the phone, and notifications felt like I was being prodded from one thing to the next.

I came up with the idea to display all the info I needed in one place. All it required was drawing events in a circle, and to show the full day's worth of events, drawing more concentric rings, which are all connected to look like one continuous coil. It became evident that you could use this method in many applications, from smartwatches and smartphones to car dashboards and VR headsets.

Samrat is a computer systems architect with over 20 years of experience developing systems for clients with time-sensitive and mission critical needs. In one instance he interviewed hundreds of users to develop a display that allows users to visualize and identify an array of sounds. Developing software that is relied upon in life and death circumstances, which has profoundly impacted how he approaches design and usability. His creativity and ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences enables him to develop simple and effective software systems. His ability to engage with and relate to a diverse set of people has also allowed him to create solutions that fit naturally with how people already work.

Devon brings 15 years of experience leading teams in building complex, multi-level systems across government and commercial sectors. A former U.S. Air Force program manager and principal cybersecurity engineer for a government contractor in the DC area, he offers deep expertise in technical operations, project management, and business operations. Known for his attention to detail and relentless problem-solving, Devon excels at adapting processes to new environments, overcoming challenges, and consistently delivering high-quality results.

Sam brings over 10 years experience as a versatile full-stack web developer and a seasoned artist manager with a deep understanding of both digital ecosystems and the live events industry. With a background spanning agencies, startups, and globally recognized brands, Sam merges creative vision with technical execution to build compelling user experiences and high-performance backend systems. Beyond the screen, he manages touring artists and oversees complex event logistics – from negotiating international bookings to executing immersive show concepts. His hands-on experience in the music festival gives him a rare edge: a fluency in the fast-paced realities of live entertainment, paired with the precision of modern web development. Whether he’s crafting a custom app or curating a tour, Sam brings a holistic, detail-driven approach rooted in culture, code, and connection.
